YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you ready to take the lead on game-changing projects that shape the future of Alken-Maes? As our Innovation Project Coordinator, you’ll be the mastermind behind our New Product Innovations (NPI), ensuring every exciting idea turns into a reality. Whether it’s for the Belgian market, other Heineken markets, export partners, or B2B clients, you’ll be at the heart of it all—connecting our production sites in Aubel, Alken, Kobbegem, and our HQ in Mechelen. Your mission? To streamline processes, push boundaries and deliver innovations right on time.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take charge of NPI projects: manage the portfolio and steer projects from start to finish.
  • Set-up timeline and communicate deadlines within the existing NPI model. Make sure everyone’s on the same page with clear communication and follow-ups.
  • Build a full project plan and scenarios to ensure on time and in full delivery of Innovation projects.
  • Report own projects towards MT during the fixed set of meetings.
  • Seek continuous improvement: challenge the status quo and suggest smarter ways to work.
  • Guide and support the cost savings agenda to find efficiencies and synergies within the production locations and other Heineken breweries.
  • Support on continuous improvement of the NPI process and support on better alignment with all Alken Maes production plants.
  • Support strategic direction of Alken-Maes by managing projects that will support the growth pillars of the company.
  • Prepare the decision-making in respect of NPI projects and to facilitate NPI meetings both with Alken Maes customers and within Alken Maes.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Education & experience: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with at least 2 years of project management experience in an FMCG environment.
  • People skills: Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities and a team-player mindset.
  • Organized & results-driven: You thrive on structure and love delivering tangible outcomes.
  • Decisive & adaptable: No fear of taking charge, even in fast-paced environments.
  • Creative thinker: You’re all about finding solutions and seizing opportunities.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English is a must, French is a big plus.
  • Mobility: Willingness to work across multiple locations.
